Pinus strobus

The eastern white pine is a long-needled, coniferous tree. White pine helped to build civilizations, including the United States, by providing wood for lumber to build houses and buildings. Today, it is still used for lumber, but is also used to help beautify plots of land (Arbor Day Foundation, 2018).
