About Me

Hi! I’m Hannah Hartman and I am a Biology major with a Gender & Women’s Studies minor at Seton Hill University. I am also involved in the Honors program here at Seton Hill University along with various clubs including Biology Club and the Feminist Collective. With the education Seton Hill has given me, I hope to obtain a career in the field of conservation ecology upon my graduation in December of 2018.

I originally fell in love with this school because of the beauty and history of its campus, which served as my inspiration for my Honors capstone project. I love the natural world and am interested in each and every facet of it, but trees are my greatest passion. I admire their beauty, elegance, and history. For these reasons, I chose to focus my Honors capstone project around the history of our population of trees at Seton Hill and how they have helped shape the culture of our community as a whole.
