Weeping willow

Salix babylonica

The weeping willow, with its cascades of flowing branches and long, wispy leaves, is considered to be one of the most beautiful trees in existence. This flowing giant helps to signify the start of beginning of spring by the emergence of its green leaves. At Seton Hill University, the weeping willow helps to create the full view of Sullivan, as it is located just to the left behind the gazebo.
