Sugar maple

Sugar maple trees, a type of maple, are commonly grown and loved for their utility as lumber and syrup creators. Sugar maples also have excellent fall foliage, turning brilliant reds, oranges, and yellows in the autumn months (Arbor Day Foundation, 2018). A notable sugar maple tree at Seton Hill University is located to the south of the Administration building along Seton Hill Drive. It celebrates Sister Ann Infanger, S. C.’s 50th Anniversary. It was dedicated on September 8, 2006 by the Sisters of Charity.
