Ginkgo biloba

The ginkgo tree is one of the most unique trees on campus (Arbor Day Foundation, 2018). It is the only genus and species in its phylum, ginkgophyta. With its rare leaf shape and brilliant yellow color in the fall, the ginkgo tree is a beautiful and different addition to Seton Hill University's campus. The ginkgo tree on Seton Hill University's campus is located near the Child Development Center and was donated by the Class of 1931.
