Eastern redbud

Cercis canadensis

The eastern redbud is a commonly grown ornamental tree due to its beautiful display of reddish-pink flowers. This stunning tree is commonly known as the harbinger of spring and is most often used to beautify plots of land (Arbor Day Foundation, 2018). At Seton Hill University, they also take on another meaning, being dedicated to various people and classes throughout the years. These trees are listed below:
